THE ROLE OF ADAPTABILITY IN ADMINISTRATIVE ROLES
Abstract: This study explores the role of adaptability in administrative roles, aiming to identify how flexibility and the ability to adjust to changing circumstances impact administrative effectiveness. A survey research design was selected for its ability to gather quantitative data from a large sample. Using Taro Yamane’s formula, a sample size of 350 administrative staff from a tourism company in Enugu was determined. The survey instrument’s reliability coefficient score was 0.86, indicating good reliability. Findings reveal that adaptability is crucial for administrative success, enabling staff to handle unexpected challenges and changes efficiently. The study recommends the integration of adaptability training into administrative development programs to improve overall performance and resilience.
